He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Peterson and Luella Peterson; his sister Beverly Thrond; and his brothers-in-law, John Jacobs, Gary Bachtle and Marlin Sandsmark.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Danny, Terry (Audrey) and Debbie Madsen (Bruce); his grandchildren, Amy Wadding (Jay), Brett Peterson (Kristen), Ryan Madsen (Lindsey) and Charlie Peterson (Christie); his great grandchildren, Kayla, Abby Wadding, Mara, Joseph, Eddie Peterson, Ryker, Ayda Madsen, Charlotte and Claire Peterson; his siblings, Kitty Sandsmark and Gene Peterson (JoAnn); and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Jacobs, Molly Bachtle, Ron Halvorson (Esther) and Roger Halvorson (Arlyce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Silver Lake Cemetery Fund or Peace and Power.
