He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Horning and Ruth Horning (Hayson); his wife Mavis Wikoren; his children, Diane, Mark and Rick; his grandson Joseph William; his brothers, Joe Horning (Carol) and Jim Horning (Verna); and his brother-in-law Max Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra, Debbie Ponticello of Omaha, NE and Patricia Horning of Albert Lea; his daughter-in-law Judy Horning (Smith); his grandchildren, Trevor and Cece; his great grandchildren, Jayce, Pressli, Mary and Niko; his siblings, David Horning (Lorraine), Rosanne Thompson, Gene Horning (Lori), Bob Horning (Toni) and Glenda McHardy (Craig); and his grandchildren, Mario, Jarod, Nicole, Mike, Christon, Chad, Chauna, Jenna, Mitch, Matt, April, Jeremy, Nick, Mark, Greg, Heather and Daniel. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
