He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bruce; his stepson John Royal (Sylvia) of Texas; and his sisters, Carolyn Wolf (Daniel) of Eagle Bend and Patricia Steuck of Long Prairie. He is also survived by three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
