He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Halbakken of Fergus Falls; his children, Mike Haarstad (Linda) of Rothsay and Kathi Grewe (David) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, John Haarstad (Angela), Paul Haarstad (Jill), Rebekka Sievert (Derrick), Brent Grewe (Megan) and Laura Loberg (Eric); his great grandchildren, Kaden, Hailey, Isaac Haarstad, Grady, Samuel, Eddie Haarstad, Jacob, Justin, Kallie Sievert, Claire, Katelyn Loberg, Dexter and Harper Grewe; and his sister Joyce Boese (Harold). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
