He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Belle (Ricketts) and John Hudson Burton Jr.; his aunt Gladys; his wife Marilyn Leanore Swanson; his sons, John and Carl; his sister-in-law Ruth Larson; his daughters-in-law, Diane and Jane; his grandchildren, Elijah, Sarah Burton of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Tanner, Taylor Burton of Kansas City, MO, Nick, Vanessa Burton of Ashby, MN, Tara Johnson of Fergus Falls, MN, Travis and Katrina Johnson of Fergus Falls, MN; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Nolan, Eleanora, Archer, Eden, John Weston, Parker, Zachary and Griffin; and his friends, DiAnne Biss and Jeff Muth.
