He is survived by: his wife Robin (Madson); his sons, Jason (Sarah) and Lance; his siblings, Carol Biddle (Ken), Linda Evenson (Ken), Cindy Reinbold (Dan), Patty Wanner (Dale), Richard (Clara) and Don (Georgine); the mother of his children Rita (Martin); his stepchildren, Andrea Mayer and Ben Kappel (Dani); his mother-in-law Helen Madson; and his sister-in-law Susan Madson.

Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
