He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mindermann and Irma Mindermann (Carstens); his brother Alvin Mindermann; and his parents-in-law, Arnold Derke, Kathryn Phillips, Margie Mindermann and Lillian Mindermann.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Bimberg of Fergus Falls; his children, Chantal Mindermann of Fergus Falls and Garth Mindermann (Sheila) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Joshua, Ellie and Jacob; his siblings, Loretta Derke of Fergus Falls and John Mindermann Jr. (Ann) of New York Mills; and his parents-in-law, Bernice Janowiec (Michael) of Brooklyn Park and Harold Phillips of Fergus Falls.
