He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Rose; and his siblings, Sharon Slobodnik and Walter Jr.. He is survived by: his significant other Antoinette Schmeling (Montello); his wife Antoinette "Toni"; his children, Jackie Dimmen (Joe) and David Schmeling (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Ali, Sam and Vinnie.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family which will be directed to the charities Bill supported.
