He is survived by: his significant other Dick Tittle; his children, Thomas Emerson Blue (Janet Polski) of Ellsworth, Mary Blue Birrittella (Mark) of Chippewa Falls, John Cushman Blue (Maureen) of Red Wing and Sarah Kolsem Blue (Marcus Witt) of Red Wing; his daughter-in-law Mary Endert Blue of Salmo; his grandchildren, Bill Sympson, Arwen Scheibe, Katherine George, Sam D. Blue, Missi Blue, Angela Birrittella, Thomas Blue, Paul Birrittella, Nick Blue, Barbara Birrittella, Sheila Lippert, Sarah Lippert, Laura Michlig, Shelby Cook and Ashley Lynn; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Hunter, Colton, Evan, Izzy, Bowie, Pearl and Cora; his brother John Paul Blue (Gary Behnke) of Bradenton; his close friends, Kay Lippert of Cottage Grove and Dick Lippert of Cottage Grove; and also British Columbia.
