With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie (Rudolph) Backlund of Elk River, Minnesota, who passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward Rudolph; her parents, Frank Rahn and Olive Rahn; her siblings, Dolores Witt and Leonard Rahn; and her stepson Elwood Backlund.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Backlund; her children, Beverly Mahdavi (Farid) of California, Douglas Rudolph (Barbara) of Elk River and James Rudolph (Lorna) of Elk River; her stepchildren, Harlan Backlund (Dee), Jerry Backlund (Sue), Lowell Backlund (Anita) and Mark Backlund (Michelle); her brothers, Donald Rahn (Donna), Robert Rahn and David Rahn (Rose); and her sister-in-law Lillian Sprengeler. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bonnie's name may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church and School.
