He was predeceased by: his son Daniel J. Konold; and his sister Gladys E. Turman. He is survived by: his wife Vera; his grandchildren, Lindy Duffy, James M. Westphal (Sara), Adam Konold, Deidre Konold, Edison Konold (Ashley), Abigail Fickle (Kurtis), Sarah Lloyd (Cody), Maxwell Konold and Jeremae Gatus (Romel); his great grandchildren, Gage Reyes, Joseph Sempf, Stella Westphal, Carter Westphal, Adelaide Konold, Jack Krambeck, Grace Krambeck, Gabriella Gatus and Roberto Gatus; and his great great grandchild Charlotte Sempf. He is also survived by many friends and extended family.
