She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Lloyd and Lila Thurston (Harvey); her husband Gerald Michaelson; her brothers, Harvey Thurston and Dr. Gordon Thurston; and her sister-in-law Judy Thurston.
She is survived by: her children, David Michaelson (Kathleen) of Chaska, Maren Bakken (Jim) of Dawson and Kristi Michaelson of Golden Valley; her grandchildren, Mark Michaelson (Cindi), Jenny Michaelson, Sara Dolan (Eric) and Amy Schlemmer (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Livvy, Jolie Michaelson, Alli, Thomas, Emily Dolan, Ethan and Eli Schlemmer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
