He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Lopau and Florence Lopau (Graphenteen); his father-in-law L. Allen Kittleson; his granddaughter Faith Rose Lopau; and his brothers, Edward, Merlyn, Delwin and David Lopau.
He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Kirsten Kragness (Shane) of Fergus Falls, Justin Lopau (Maria) of Alexandria and Wendy Olson (Travis) of Coon Rapids; his grandchildren, Malayna, Marissa, Bentley Kragness, Brooklyn and Ruby Lopau; his mother-in-law Doris Kittleson of Dawson; his siblings, Barb Feuerhelm (Tom), Karen Johnson (Richard), Rita VonArb (Dale), Jolene Lopau, Ron Lopau, Randy Lopau (Donna), Steve Lopau (Linda) and Mark Lopau (Melissa); and his sisters-in-law, Gay Lopau, Lynn Lopau, Sandy Lopau and Sharon Lopau. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
