He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Matzke and Doris Matzke (Amundson); and his grandparents, William, Agnes Matzke, Clarence and Edith Amundson.

He is survived by: his sister Marjorie Baumrucker of Woodbury, MN; and his nephews, David Baumrucker of Cottage Grove, MN and Michael Baumrucker.
