It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Halstenson (Crookston, Minnesota), born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on June 21, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson James William Halstenson; his parents, Gordon Halstenson and Ethel Halstenson; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Patricia Carson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Claire Carson; his sons, Benjamin and Ben; his daughter-in-law Lacie Halstenson of Lisbon, ND; his daughter Nicole; his son-in-law Shane Heldstab of Crookston, MN; his grandchildren, Jack Gordon Halstenson, Anna Marie, Alice Faith and Claire Catherine Heldstab; his sister Salisbury of Minnewaukan, ND; and also, Toni, Hodgson and Peter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a very special charity in Rich's life, The Ronald McDonald House.
