He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lambert and Olga Josephine Sheridan (Swenson); his son Duaine Allen; his wife Virginia; his granddaughter Trisha Lopez; and his siblings, Blanche Einerson, Bernice Howland, Doris Christopherson (Braaten), Charles (Bud), Glenn and Donald.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon M. Johnson (Bushaw) of Crookston, MN and Linda Lopez of Wendell, MN; and his grandsons, Joseph Bushaw III (Tara) of Crookston and Luis Lopez III of California. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Three years later Virginia was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and entered the Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile.
