She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Smith and Mary Smith (Kincaid); and her siblings, Steven Smith and Vicki Gilbertson (Jewel Strande). She is survived by: her spouse Jewel Strande; her daughters, Stacey (Chris Bruggeman) and Ashley (David Rye); her grandchildren, Carter, Halle, Madilyn, Teegan, Blair, Bexley and Holland; her siblings, Linda, Larry Thomas of Highlands Ranch, CO, Randy Smith, Sharon Bartrum, Susan and Marc Palmer of Crookston; and her siblings-in-law, Jaclyn Smith of Bemidji, MN and Rodney Gilbertson of DeSmet, SD. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
