He was predeceased by: his son Jeffery Komada. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Phyllis Lundeen (Randy); his daughter-in-law Cathy Komada; his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Vanessa Komada, Whitney Malovrh (Andrew), Amanda, Becca and Alex Lundeen; and his great grandchild Garrett.
