He is survived by: his children, LuAnn Ollig (Thomas) of Winsted, Debbie Johnson (Denny) of Cokato, Bonnie Hatfield (Dwight) of Cokato, Stephen Gillman (Tammy) of Rockford and Stephanie Birdsill (Boyd) of Spooner, WI; his grandchildren, Aric Johnson, Tina Joiner, Michelle Campbell, Lisa Grack, Chad Hatfield, Beth Ollig, Laura Root, Breanna Kresser, Sarah Gillman, Zachary Beise, Luke Birdsill, Abigail Birdsill, Alyssa Gillman and Cody Gillman; his great grandchildren, Kayla Grack, Brandon Johnson, Dylan Grack, Jade Hatfield, Hunter Hatfield, Tyler Johnson, Madison Campbell, Owen Johnson, Cole Johnson, Evan Grack, Jordan Grack, Grayson Root and Hadley Kresser; his siblings, Marvel Blom (Donald) of Hutchinson, Marcia Anderson (Floyd) of Apple Valley, Mary Carlen (Harlund) of Dassel and Irene Krejci of Hutchinson; and his sisters-in-law, Esther Klima of Cokato, Judy Compton of Eagan and Lota Compton of Oklahoma. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I remember him mostly when we went to Grandma & Grandpa G's house sitting in the kitchen, drinking the coffee and eating supper and the many treats Grandma would make. When there were no other kids around to play with, I would sit at the kitchen table and listen to the men talk about the days events and farming. Good memories.
