He is survived by: his wife Elaine Maidl of Cokato; his children, Gerald Le Maidl Jr. of Cokato, Karrie Jo Baysinger (Loren Doc) of Hutchinson, Michelle Lee Henkelmann of Glencoe and James Wallace Maidl of Cokato; his mother Mary Ringheim (Harris) of Rice; and his siblings, John Maidl of Sauk Rapids, Kathrine Janski (William) of Rice, Wallace Maidl of Rice, Richard Maidl (Rose) of Sartell, Leona Wagner of Rice, Robert Maidl (Shony) of Sauk Rapids, Merry Ann Yell of Sauk Rapids, Marleen Maidl of St. Cloud, Lois Boe of St. Cloud, Alfred Maidl, Sandi Thomas (Melvin) of North Branch and Lucy Pearson (Steve) of Big Lake. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
