It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brett Alan Van Hecke of Cokato, Minnesota, born in Shakopee, Minnesota, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary Van Hecke, John and Wilhelmina Hooyer; and his aunts and uncles, Patricia Van Hecke, Marlene Van Hecke, Larry and James Hooyer.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert Hecke and Sharon Van Hecke (Hooyer); his wife Tammy; his stepchildren, Chelsie, Joshua and Caitlin; his brothers, Ryan Van Hecke (Tina) and Brandon Van Hecke (Jodie); his grandfather Francis Van Hecke; and his father-in-law Keith Duske (Kathy). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
