He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Cornelius and Amanda Cornelius (Grinager); his wife Ramona Jean Gordon; his daughter Trudy Shaw (Cornelius); his grandchildren, Jennifer Shaw Leigh and Joseph Cornelius; and his siblings, Clinton Cornelius (Eleanor), Galen Cornelius, Darlene Sather (Reuben) and Shirley Lynne (Stan).
He is survived by: his children, Diane Norgaard (Loren) of Glenwood, MN, Karen Renneke (Mark) of Northfield, MN, Linda Lewison (Ben) of Maple Lake, MN and David Cornelius (Sharon) of Clarkfield; his grandchildren, Erik Norgaard, David Norgaard, Rachel Aus (Jason), Nick Shaw (Gwen), Ryan Renneke (Alison), Sarah Garrison (Mitch), Amanda Dietrich (Ben), Jason Lewison (Kirsten), Trina Lewison Lavigne, Jeremy Lewison (Christine Thomas), Lynn Groenhoff (Brandon) and Joshua Cornelius; his brother Donny Cornelius (Delores); his son-in-law Scott Shaw; and his sister-in-law Elaine Cornelius. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
