He is survived by: his wife Maggie Mase; his children, Tom Effertz (Heidi), Dan Effertz (Silvia) and Cindy Taylor (Todd); his grandchildren, Paul Effertz (Anna), Mason Effertz, Madeline Taylor and Emily Taylor; his great grandchildren, Norah, Charlie and Carter Effertz; his close friend Ingrid Evanson; and his siblings, Paula Effertz (Dorothea Anderson), Gina Weiner (Bill Ratzlaff) and Charlie Effertz. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
