He is survived by: his children, Mark (Diane) of Victoria, Lynn Oltman (Bob) of Lakeville, JoAnne French Tonka (Dennis), Kathleen Smith of Mpls and MaryJane Strommer of Mtka; his grandchildren, David, Renee, Linnea, Kelley Detlefsen (Kent), Cody, Dillon, Heidi French, Emanual Lynum, Edward IV Smith (Kaela), Zachary Sr. Smith (Jade) and Brandon Smith (Tara); and his sister Bev Schmidt (Delano).
