He was predeceased by: his parents, Aked Taylor and Alice Taylor (Raymond); and his sister Phyllis Pitsenberger. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Booth; his children, Shelly Taylor (Greg Hollie) of Brooklyn Center, Lori Taylor of Burnsville, Mike Lindell (Kendra Reeves) of Chaska, Robin Schmieg (Brian) of Victoria, Todd Taylor (Cindy) of Shakopee, Cindy Carlson (Bryan) of Montrose, Amy Schmieg (Jason) of Victoria and John Taylor (Tori) of Chaska; his grandchildren, Jeris, Heather, Elizabeth, Charlie, Darren, Sarah, Kyle, Megan, Cassie, Kellie, Madeline, Emily, Ben, Zach, Jayden, Sydney and Trevin; his pet Leila; and his siblings, Darrell Taylor (Joanne) of Hugo and Joyce Brumond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the USS Brinkley Bass Association or Life for Youth Camp in Vero Beach, FL.
