He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Mildred; his siblings, James, Dan, Jackie Schempf and Arlene Voigt; and his siblings-in-law, Vernon Voigt, Russ Schempf and Cathy Boegeman.
He is survived by: his close friend Carol Bedell; his children, Kim Ellison (Neil), Kelly Gulden (Jay Christenson), Troy, Tracey, Kurt (Dawn) and Paige; his grandchildren, Ryan Gulden, Drew Gulden, Kalie Boegeman, Cody Boegeman, Michael Boegeman and Matthew Boegeman; his great grandchildren, Haylee, Brooke, Evan, Gavin and Owen; and his sister John. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends.
