He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Deslauriers and Rosalia Deslauriers (Illg); his wife Phyllis; his children, Joseph and Lucy; his children-in-law, James Schwebach, Thomas Bly and Julie Deslauriers; his grandson Steven Bly; his sisters, Helen Staples (Leo), Ethel Madson (Floyd), Joyce Homan (Marcel) and Verdella Slater (Tom); and his brother-in-law Melvin Ruppert.
He is survived by: his children, Myron, Craig, Robert (Darla Thompson), Donald (Tammy), Renee Schwebach of Dumont, MN, Theresa Bly, Jayne Jeremiason (Cal), Madonna Reckoff (Paul), Karen Bekaert (Michael), Sarah Deslauriers, Norberta Bekaert (Leigh Mellendorf), Ann Botten (Larry), Courtland and Catherine Fink (Perry); his sister-in-law JoEllyn Ruppert; and his pet Dakota. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
Family prefers memorials in lieu of flowers.
