He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Lacek and Clara Lacek (Sik); and his siblings, Floyd Lacek and Betty Rassmusen. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Lacek; his children, Brian Lacek (Jill), Connie Lacek (Darroll), Jeff Lacek (Andrea), Tim Lacek (Naree) and Dean Lacek (Amy); and his siblings, Walter Lacek (Josie) of Canby, MN, Andrew Lacek (Evelyn) and Janet Binnebose (Larry). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
