It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Blumeyer (Canby, Minnesota), born in Rock Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albertus and Anna Blumeyer (DeZeeuw); his wife Sandra J. Hanson; his daughter Stacey; and his siblings, Arlin, Myron Blumeyer and Darlene Buffington.

He is survived by: his children, Curtis and Sandra; his grandson Tyler; and his siblings, Arnold Blumeyer (Sharron) of Charleston, SC, Douglas Blumeyer of Rocky Point, NC, Patricia Heath (Jeff) of Bradenton, FL and Sandra Beucler (Orie) of Chanhassen, MN.. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, brothers/sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
