He is survived by: his wife Bonita Buttke; his children, Rob Machel (Jen), Sara Beach (Jeff), Heidi Houck (Kevin) and Holly Machel; his grandchildren, Elena, Isabel Machel, Alden, Emma Beach, Adela, Lilian and Bernadette Houck; his sister Nancy Storm Spano (Paul); his stepbrother Lyle Koenig; and his pet Brandi.
