He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Anderson and Hulda Anderson (Carlson); his pet Chips; his children, Kathleen Osterhus (Jon), Patricia Brettschneider (Steven) and David Anderson (Christine); his grandchildren, Shannon Jones (Jeremy), Aimee Brettschneider and Matthew Brettschneider (Nicole); his wife Marilyn Anderson (Stirratt); and his siblings, Laverne, Audrey, Kenneth, Vincent and Ronald. He was also cherished by two step-granddaughters, six step-grandsons, great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and one great-great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Heart Association in his honor.
