He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gust and Anna Norberg (Anderson); and his son Steve. He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Ensz; his children, Chuck of Chandler, Greg of Howard, Lori Blake (Dave) of Urbandale and Lonna Substad (Keith) of Eagan, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Ryan Substad (Anna), Kyle Substad (Deborah), Krista Williams (Mitchell), Luisa Substad and Jonathan Substad; and his great grandchildren, Elisa Substad, Faith Substad, Hope Substad and Asher Williams.
