She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Odell and Laura Odell (Sutton); her husband Walter Strey; her son Richard Strey; and her grandson Benjamin Strey.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Strey of Olivia, Steve Strey (Mary) of Bird Island, Margie Polingo (George) of Litchfield, Dale Strey (Becky) of Willmar, Chris Odell (Karen) of Michigan and Cindi Krause (Jeff Huseby) of Belview; and her siblings, Jean Krick (Neil) of Blaine and Clinton Odell (Linda) of Fridley. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren; her 17 great-grandchildren.
