He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Frericks and Bernadetta Frericks (Holgraffer); his wife Claris Frericks; his siblings, Ralph Frericks, Bob Frericks, Doris Meyer and Mary Jane Salfer; and his siblings-in-law, Howard Meyer, Leroy Salfer, Joseph Schunk Jr., Kathy Dehmlow and Bernadine Haag.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen, Carol Hovde (Bruce) of Dovray, MN, Steve Frericks (Sandy) of Dubios, WY, Michael Frericks (Michelle) and Nancy Berghuis (Wayne) of Hector, MN; his grandchildren, Bridget Norland (Curt), Kia Vichaikul (Oak), Christopher Elling, Ross Hovde, Matthew Frericks, Elizabeth Elling and Torie Frericks (Kaleb); his great grandchildren, Madison Norland, Preston Bashans, Dylan Elling, Claire Elling, Dawson Elling, Emma Elling, Kal Vichaikul and Emi Vichaikul; and his brothers-in-law, Emil Trebesch (Judy), Pete Kretsch (Rosie), Dale Haag and Many. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
