Roger Henry Scherer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Henry Scherer of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Scherer and Julia Scherer; and his daughter Lisa. He is survived by: his cousins, Mike and Greg; his wife Irma; his children, Rachael (Stephen Imholte), Peter (Geri), Kristopher (Georganne), Mark (Heather), Andrea Belton (Bryan) and Maria (Collin Smyser); his grandchildren, Laura Lasonde (Jared), Sam, Giulia Imholte, Jacqueline, Hannah, Andrew, Ben, Lucy, Francesca, Henry, Claudia, Ronan Belton and Anna Smyser; his great grandchild Jack Lasonde; his siblings, Gary Scherer (Carolyn), Donna Zitur and Jean Wagener (Paul); and his sister-in-law Marina Gentilini. He is also survived by his sons, nephew and their coworkers.
The family prefers memorials be directed to scholarships that have been established at DeLaSalle High School and St. John's University.
