She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Baltus and Rose Baltus (Breiter); her son Steven Max; her grandchildren, Daniel Lee Max, Kevin Otto Max, Kristy Kay Max and Chase Max; and her sister Mary Baltus.
She is survived by: her former husband Kermit Max; her husband Harold Baker; her friend Percy Boesen; her children, Debra Johnson of Hillsboro, ND, Vicki Platt (Darryl) of Wahpeton, ND, Julie Max (Mike Weninger) of Hill City, MN, Kristi Max of Wahpeton, ND, John Max of Deer River, MN and Sherry Wika (Jason) of Grandin, ND; her friend Percy Boeson of Breckenridge, MN; and her siblings, William Baltus (Darlene) of Grand Rapids, MN, Michael Baltus (Mary) of Hill City, MN and Carol Wittstruck of Princeton, MN. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
