He is survived by: his wife Mary Wiertzema; his children, Vivian Perala (Roger), Vern Wiertzema (Susan), Vance Wiertzema (Holly) and Dana Wiertzema (Lorraine); his grandchildren, Isaiah Johns (Jennifer), Quinton Johns, Rachel Holmaas (Luke), Ashley Wiertzema, Erica Geisen (Allan), Justin Wiertzema (Heidi), Travis Wiertzema and Natalie Adams (Jotham); and his siblings, Sam Wiertzema (Janet), Del Wiertzema (Kathy), Ione Christensen (Jim) and Linda Ozmun (Gene). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
