He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Lorenz and Edna Lorenz (Shelly). He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Michael Lorenz, Diane Ehlert (Mark), Susan Brendefur (Kyle) and Douglas Lorenz (Lori); his grandchildren, Derek Ehlert, Nathan Lorenz (Lindsey), Amanda Broadland (Dean), Jesse Ehlert (Kraig Steckler), Bobbi Brendefur, Kaci Brendefur, Allison Lorenz and Riley Lorenz; and his great grandchild Lawrence Broadland. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests all memorial donations to be made to either the St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge, CHI-Health at Home and Hospice in Breckenridge, or the Richland/Wilkin Humane Society in Wahpeton.
