She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hegstad and Hilda Hegstad; her husband Harry Armstrong; her son Jeffrey Armstrong; and her siblings, Jim Hegstad, Doug Hegstad, Eunice Formo, Jean and Gladys.

She is survived by: her son Joe Armstrong (Brenda); and her sisters, Dorothy Hutchings, Helen Ghiani and Margaret Toronto. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
