She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Raiter and Mary Raiter (Mead); her son Jimmy; her husband Gerald Rick; and her brothers, William and Thomas Raiter.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Rick of Breckenridge, MN, Patricia Mateen (Al) of Eden Prairie, MN and Michael Rick (Brenda) of Wahpeton, ND; her grandchildren, Hollie Peterson (Jay), Ren Rick, Maggie Rick, Adam Mateen (Sarah), Alex Mateen, Nick Mateen, Jessica Rick (Matt Samuelson), Jenna Blanchard (Zach) and Zachariah Rick; her great grandchildren, Elton, Mara, Maeve, Rheia, Maren, Maisy, Charlie, Jayden, Mira and Owen; and her siblings, Robert Raiter, Katherine Ricci (Ron), Richard Raiter (Ruth) and Mary Jo Haire (Jim). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the new St. Mary's School building fund in memory of Betty Rick.
