He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Vergin and Anna M. Vergin (Christensen); his sister Arlyce Svea; and his niece Brenda Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Char of Benson, MN; his sister Dee White (Allan) of Guttenberg, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Brad Svea (Holly) of Starbuck, MN, Ross Romanzak (Janet) of Forrest, VA, Teri Beyer (Phil) of Spicer, MN, Greg Hanson (Dori) of Hutchinson, MN, Penny Waskosky (Karl) of New Richmond, WI, Lyn Solberg (Brian) of Spring Grove, MN and Tim Hilzinger (Angie).
Memorials can be given to Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson or Swift County Benson Hospital Foundation.
