He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry E. Slaughter and Margaret A. Larson Slaughter; and his sister MaryLou Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Maree T. Osterbauer of Benson; his children, Russell Slaughter of Fargo, Jacob Slaughter of Benson, Mollee Mielke (David) of New Germany and Emily Craig (Justin) of LeSuer; his grandchildren, Lillian, Cyrus Craig and Baby Mielke; his sister Sheila Hurley (Rob) of Danube; and his father-in-law Jerry Osterbauer of DeGraff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
