Robert LeRoy Lye Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert LeRoy Lye of Benson, Minnesota, who passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Lye; his siblings, Anne Lye, Agnes Josephine Ohmacht (Jo), Lester, Bennie, Erling, Jack, Arthur and Elmer; and his siblings-in-law, Herbert, Lester Erickson, Walter Ohmacht, Paul Grimm, Burton VanOrt, Helen, Clara, Esther, Mildred Lye, Orla Grimm and Ella VanOrt.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Lye (Sandra) of Danvers and Diane Dieter (David) of Montevideo; his grandchildren, Jenny Lingen (Craig) of Mantador, ND, Molly Field of Montevideo, Jed Lye (Kayla) of Benson, Samuel Lye (Sirocco) of Benson and Thomas Lye (Kelsi) of Danvers; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Ethan, Ivy, Josie, Briggs, Bennett, Joanna and Sophia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
Donations are preferred to the West Bank Cemetery Fund.
