He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gill and Geri Gill; and his mother-in-law Diana Drake. He is survived by: his wife Temple Renee Gill; his siblings, Jeff Gill, Judi Schmidt (Brad), June Linnertz (Wade) and Jim Gill (Melissa); his brothers-in-law, Edward Drake, Mitchell Drake (Christina) and Sheldon Drake (Stacy); and his children, Amanda Averill (Scott), Andrea Bak (Dustin), Jessica Lyczewski (Brandon), Ava Ray Gill, John Thomas Gill Jr., Faye Katherine Kay Gill and Jonathan Avalos (Estee). He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Willmar Assembly of God Church.
