He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Paulsrud and Josie Paulsrud; his daughter Denise; his siblings, Ernie, Curtis, Cora and Joy; his brother-in-law Henry; and his nephew Dale.

He is survived by: his son Doug; his wife Rebecca Connelly; his children, Michael, Melissa and Melinda; his grandchildren, Landon, Madyson and Harper; and his sister Edna.
