He was predeceased by: his parents, John Showalter and Ione Showalter (Swensrud); his former wife Sandy; and his son Garrit. He is survived by: his wife Linda Devillers of Danvers; his children, Megan Showalter of St. Cloud and Jared Showalter (Tammy) of Hibbing; his grandchildren, Haley Weyer, Nicholas Weyer, Jayden Showalter and Jaxon Showalter; and his siblings, Brian Showalter (Karla) of Swift Falls, Carol Augustson (Ron) of Chisholm and Bruce Showalter (Sharon) of Buhl. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
