He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stier and Marie Stier (Ebel); his son Jerry; and his siblings, Wanda and Willard.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Jane Krentz (Larry), Jason Stier (April) and Jay Stier; his grandchildren, Melissa Krentz, Daniel Krentz, Collin Stier Krentz, Kayla Buszmann (Justin), Charli Jo Stier, Riley Stier and Cody Stier; and his great grandchildren, Blakely and Cody Buszmann.
