He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Catherine O'Brien (Shea); his wife Therese Buley; his daughter Peggy O'Brien Schley (Michael); and his daughter-in-law Betty O'Brien (John).
He is survived by: his children, Charlene Kelzer (George), Tom (Connie), Paula Germscheid (Wayne), John, Maury and Lee (Tracy); his son-in-law Michael Schley; his grandchildren, Meghan, Andrew (Crystal), Renee, Maureen, Erin, Allison, Tyler, Tom, Kate, Lucas, Connor and Kendall; his siblings, Mary Catherine Buley, Geraldine Latterell, Colleen Sathre (Gene), Keiran O'Brien (Diane) and Joe O'Brien (Bernice); his sister-in-law Linda O'Brien (Francis); and his siblings, Mary Therese O'Brien, Francis O'Brien, William O'Brien, Gerald O'Brien, Jack O'Brien, Donald O'Brien, Finton O'Brien and Kevin O'Brien.
