He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Malz and Emeline Malz (Krekelberg); and his daughter Michele Fischer. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Chard; his daughters, Melissa Seaver (Ed Valdez) and Meghan Malz (Travis Worshek) of Belle Plaine, MN; his son-in-law Steve Fischer of Shakopee, MN; his grandchildren, Katie Herrmann (Chris), Ashley Seaver (Andy Olson), Allison Skluzacek (Nick Mata), Hannah Skluzacek, Tyler Fischer and Nicole Walker; his great grandchildren, Carson, Owen and Daxon Herrmann; his brothers, Edward Malz (Judy) of Farmington, MN, Gary Malz (Sally) of Jordan and Alan Malz; his close friend Sandy Nordauen of Jordan, MN.; his parents-in-law, Dorothy Malz, Robert Chard (Betty), LeRoy Chard (Connie) and Agnes Chard; and his siblings, Robert, Melvin, Larry Malz and Phyllis Snyder (Malz).
