He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Frank and Anna Wilhelmina Maria Winterfeldt (Wolf); his wife LaVerna Lillian Marion Schultz; and his sisters, Delores Haynes, Leona Moore and Myrt Farber.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Zierden (Patrick), David Winterfeldt (Linda), Jerome Winterfeldt (Lori) and John Winterfeldt (Carmen Steuck); his grandchildren, Sara Schwartz (Zach Carpenter), Matthew Zierden, Jennifer Winterfeldt (Clare Dudzinski), Christopher Winterfeldt (Melanie), Michael Winterfeldt, Cassandra Winterfeldt, Adam Winterfeldt (Christy), Andrew Winterfeldt and Aiden Winterfeldt (Kayli Rohal); his great grandchildren, Emma Wolters (Jack Whinnery), Benjamin, William Winterfeldt and Hazel Winterfeldt; and his sister-in-law Shirley Gruber. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
